This here is Bluey - He is the Oliver Family's pet sheep. He's quite cute and looks innocent as seen here... But don't be decieved - Bluey is a sheep not to be tangled with! Right here, he's trying to show Leigh who's boss!

I just recently turned 30 and my sister in law bought me this awesome shirt from the gap for my birthday. You may be familiar with the campaign that Bobby Shriver, Bono, and Oprah are supporting for medical aide for the widespread epidemic of HIV and aids in Africa. The campaign is called product [red] Companies are supporting this effort by donating a portion of their proceeds towards it. If anything this campaign has done lots to at least raise awareness. What a great way to make a difference in the world! Many people are dying and are incredibly sick because of lack of clean water - with some solutions being as simple as educating Africans on "how to" dig clean wells. I can hardly believe the big day has come and gone - the big 3-oh! Fortunately I have been informed by many that 30 is the new 20 so, I'm doing good then!...There have been no major old age mishaps - like losing my vision, having a bad hip, arthritis, or a desire to watch Matlock - I am in good condition!!! While at home my parents/family made a great dinner and gave me a few great presents like a new calendar, the movie Big Fish, Foot lotions, etc. and some cash. It was great to spend an evening with them celebrating. Also Leigh's parents, brother, and sister sent me some money to buy a guitar so now I am looking into that a bit more to see what would suit me best. I am so blessed. With a little bit of the money that I got, I went to Canadian Tire and bought a mini drawer thing used for screws, and nails, etc. and made it into a jewelry box for all my necklaces, and earrings, etc. It's fabulous! My actual birthDAY was amazing too... It all started with some yummy eggs...

It's been so nice to sit back, relax, and enjoy the day. We've been able to be home from work at a regular hour - around 5pm. Our new office space is only a few blocks away so when we get home Leigh starts cooking supper while I go for a walk - it's been fabulously peaceful. The sunny weather has really helped, and we've been able to take time to read the Bible together in the morning, and talk about things, which I'm really enjoying. I really have a great friend in Leigh. I enjoy the time we spend together, and I think it's amazing how well we work together as a team too! This is a photo of us at one of our friends parties. Lately we have been able to pursue more of our passions with our available time. Leigh has been getting together with a few friends of his and developing videos - a dream and ...
