Ticking Along

It was so much fun having Carlene stay with us here in Vancouver. Here she is with Leigh in China Town. She totally spoiled us, and left a giant hole when she left - she melded so easy and quickly into our lives. Although, I'm sure she's happy to return home to her hubby now tho after many days/weeks on the road! Here's Carlene in our spare room. Sarah has settled in nicely to her new room and home, and we have to say that we absolutely love having her here. We had fun decorating and setting up her room, as well as shopping to get all the things she needed before Carlene left.

Also, our MA team went to Seattle for a 3 day staff retreat, where we talked through our last year, and met with some YWAM Seattle friends to share ideas for the summer teams coming.
We have a new staff working with us Chris from Toronto who is looking to set up Mission Adventures there and is here this summer getting more ideas for their base.

For fun and to glean ideas for our summer theme, we enjoyed the Experience Music Project, which is a museum of music. It was amazing - we could have spent many more hours there if we had the time. We also enjoyed some wonderful mexican food at Azteca - Yum! Yum!

Ah yes... That's how I remember my first born. The name Leigh means dweller of the pleasant meadow, but I think it should mean eater of the yummy food! Love ya!

That picture of the four of you guys is really cool. You should use it in brochures, hehe.
