Jamie and Craig's Wedding



Hey Friends
I AM still alive...believe it or not! Our summer mission adventure programs are in full swing - and we are having a blast!! We are busier than ever especially with the wedding of our good friends Jamie (who played guitar at my wedding) and Craig. It was a beauitful outdoor wedding, and we had a fabulous time. Unfortunately, Leigh being the committed leader that he is, stayed back at the YWAM base with the teams to allow our other staff to go to the wedding...awwwww - what a servant!
Our house has been quite a hub of action lately with all the MA work going on and with our roomie Audrey being a bridesmaid for Jamie's wedding. My gorgeous little goddaughter was such a beautiful flower girl.
Jamie asked me to do her hair for the wedding, which made me feel so honoured, and I was priveleged enough to help make some corsages for the mother of the bride/groom, grandmom's and guest book people, as well as help set up the reception and ceremony area. It was a gorgeous day, and we had so much fun! It was great fun to see Emily again this weekend too. *sigh* I love her!

Okay, where is that god-daughter's dress from and does it come in sizes 18 month (well she is ALMOST in 18 month clothing now) and size 6?????

none other than your FAVORITE place - the GAP! and it does come in size 6 but it's not a two piece...in fact it's cuter - in a one piece...

oh, but it is a two piece! becuse she has no butt we had to pin it up with a saftey pin on the skirt...
and i know i owe you an email glenna, we're not dead, just in grace-covered chaos....

(carleene, last night sophia got ahold of one of the tubes of vegemite you and ross left and she was sucking out of the tube...what has leigh done to her?!)

Yesterday at our staff pinawa conference, Leigh went to enjoy a natural waterslide in an activity time, and lost his wedding band. It was in the middle of the rapids so it's not likely to be seen again. He had tried to take it off before getting in the water, but wasn't able to. I am sad. Good thing the ring is just a symbol. The Big 3- Oh!

I can hardly believe the big day has come and gone - the big 3-oh! Fortunately I have been informed by many that 30 is the new 20 so, I'm doing good then!...There have been no major old age mishaps - like losing my vision, having a bad hip, arthritis, or a desire to watch Matlock - I am in good condition!!! While at home my parents/family made a great dinner and gave me a few great presents like a new calendar, the movie Big Fish, Foot lotions, etc. and some cash. It was great to spend an evening with them celebrating. Also Leigh's parents, brother, and sister sent me some money to buy a guitar so now I am looking into that a bit more to see what would suit me best. I am so blessed. With a little bit of the money that I got, I went to Canadian Tire and bought a mini drawer thing used for screws, and nails, etc. and made it into a jewelry box for all my necklaces, and earrings, etc. It's fabulous! My actual birthDAY was amazing too... It all started with some yummy eggs...
