Sarah turned 19 on the 13th of June, and we had a good time celebrating. She got some cute pj's from mom and dad in Australia, and Wade and Jo had us over for dinner - Greek! Yum! Joanna then made Sarah an authentic Australian Mud cake - with pink whipped cream and yummy fruit. On a totally separate note, MA summer has started and taking over every moment of our lives, from 7 am to 11:30pm. It's going really well though. It's at this time of year that we forget that there is another whole world outside of MA. Our theme is pretty cool though, and we are using these old school records that we found as part of the set.

It's hard to believe that it's already 8 years ago when I arrived in Vancouver, and lived with the Parizeau family. Renee, 10 years old when we first met, has grown into such a beautiful woman now. It sure confirms that I'm not getting any younger. I was met face to face with this fact when Renee invited me to her high school graduation. We have grown close over the years, and I was so honoured when she asked me to come to her graduation, and if I'd be willing to do her hair/make-up for her as well. I can't help but be so proud of her...
